It aims to serve as a <\/span>data repository<span class=\"s1\">, facilitating <\/span>data analysis, research experimentation, and the development of software applications<span class=\"s1\"> or <\/span>data-driven solutions<span class=\"s1\">. Additionally, it seeks to become a <\/span>knowledge hub<span class=\"s1\">, providing reference materials for data researchers. The key objectives include:<\/span><\/p><ul><li class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\">Developing a Data Repository<\/span> to support research both inside and outside the laboratory.<\/li><li class=\"p3\">Conducting data analysis and exploration<span class=\"s1\"> for IT-related research.<\/span><\/li><li class=\"p3\">Developing software applications and IT systems<span class=\"s1\"> to enhance technological applications.<\/span><\/li><li class=\"p3\">Collaborating with external research institutions<span class=\"s1\">, including government and private sectors.<\/span><\/li><li class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\">Organizing and participating in competitions<\/span> related to data science and IT research.<\/li><li class=\"p3\">Providing a well-equipped research laboratory<span class=\"s1\"> for training and skill development.<\/span><\/li><li class=\"p3\">Hosting academic training and seminars<span class=\"s1\"> on research-related topics.<\/span><\/li><li class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\">Organizing workshops and symposiums<\/span> to foster knowledge exchange and innovation.<\/li><\/ul><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This initiative aims to <\/span>advance research, collaboration, and practical applications in data and information technology<span class=\"s1\">, fostering an innovative and knowledge-driven research community.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-8622\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-8622\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon elementor-accordion-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-plus\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-opened\"><i class=\"fas fa-minus\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-accordion-title\" tabindex=\"0\">IP Communication Laboratory (I\u2013Lab)<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-8622\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-8622\"><p class=\"p1\">\u00a0 \u00a0 This facility is designed to <span class=\"s1\">test the quality of telephone systems over IP networks<\/span> or <span class=\"s1\">Voice over IP (VoIP)<\/span>. It enables comprehensive analysis of both <span class=\"s1\">audio signal quality<\/span> and <span class=\"s1\">data packet performance<\/span> within IP networks. The system evaluation is conducted in two primary areas:<\/p><ol><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ol><li class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">VoIP Equipment Testing<\/span> \u2013 Assessing hardware components for VoIP systems.<\/li><li class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Service Provider Signal Quality Analysis<\/span> \u2013 Evaluating the quality of VoIP services offered by network providers.<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol><p class=\"p1\">Additionally, the facility provides <span class=\"s1\">VoIP system simulation and analysis services<\/span> for real-world applications. This service is available to <span class=\"s1\">private sector organizations<\/span> that are considering VoIP deployment but are unsure if their planned system will function as expected. The laboratory conducts <span class=\"s1\">system evaluation, network analysis, and real-world simulation testing<\/span> to verify VoIP system performance before actual implementation.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">\u00a0 \u00a0 The facility also assists in <span class=\"s1\">VoIP system design and fine-tuning<\/span>, ensuring <span class=\"s1\">optimal performance and reliability<\/span> before deployment. Furthermore, the laboratory is equipped with <span class=\"s1\">mobile phones and tablets<\/span> to support research projects conducted by <span class=\"s1\">students and faculty members<\/span> within the School of Information Technology.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-8623\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-8623\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon elementor-accordion-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-plus\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-opened\"><i class=\"fas fa-minus\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-accordion-title\" tabindex=\"0\">Requirement Engineering Laboratory (R-lab)<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-8623\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-8623\"><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0 \u00a0 This research laboratory focuses on <\/span>learning, exploration, and research<span class=\"s1\"> in developing <\/span>frameworks<span class=\"s1\"> for <\/span>Information System (IS) development<span class=\"s1\"> and identifying <\/span>key success factors<span class=\"s1\"> in the creation, implementation, and adoption of <\/span>Information Technology (IT)<span class=\"s1\">. It also emphasizes <\/span>processes, methodologies, and techniques<span class=\"s1\"> for effectively <\/span>gathering, analyzing, and managing user requirements<span class=\"s1\">, ensuring <\/span>accuracy, completeness, and reliability<span class=\"s1\">. This approach is critical for project success from a <\/span>user perspective<span class=\"s1\">, beyond just technical achievements.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p3\">In addition, <span class=\"s2\">R-Lab<\/span> extends its research to <span class=\"s2\">policy studies, IT planning, and evaluation<\/span> at various levels. This includes:<\/p><ul><li class=\"p4\">Guidelines for system auditing and acceptance testing<span class=\"s1\"> in organizations.<\/span><\/li><li class=\"p4\">Evaluation of the success and impact of developed applications<span class=\"s1\">.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">R-Lab also plays a <\/span>complementary role<span class=\"s1\"> in bridging and integrating <\/span>technical research from other laboratories<span class=\"s1\"> within the faculty. Thus enabling KMUTT to strive for technological excellence at the global level, and leading our graduates to have global skills at the forefront of technology.<\/p><\/header><section class=\"gh-content gh-canvas\"><p>Leading by example is an excellent way for personnel development.
