Information Technology<\/p><ol start=\"1\"><li><span class=\"s1\">Complete the IRB Application Form (IRB-Form)<\/span> and prepare all required documents as specified by the <a href=\"https:\/\/ethics.kmutt.ac.th\/documental\/\">Research, Innovation, and Partnerships Office (RIPO)<\/a>.<\/li><li>Submit the printed application (1 set)<span class=\"s1\">, including the <\/span>project proposal, cover page, and supporting documents<span class=\"s1\">, to:<\/span><br \/><ul><li>Ms. Walaiphan Pornwirun<\/li><li><span class=\"s1\">Or via the <\/span>Academic Services Office<\/li><li><span class=\"s1\">Or via <\/span>Line group: IRB@SIT_IRB Proposal<i>(Available every working day: Monday\u2013Sunday)<\/i><\/li><\/ul><span class=\"s1\">Applications will be <\/span>reviewed by the SIT IRB Subcommittee within one week<span class=\"s1\">.<\/span><\/li><li>If students, instructors, or researchers <span class=\"s1\">require a confirmation of submission prior to IRB approval<\/span> (e.g., for research funding applications),a <span class=\"s1\">submission receipt<\/span> can be downloaded directly from the system.<blockquote><span class=\"s1\">Note:<\/span> This document only confirms the receipt of the application \u2014 it is <span class=\"s1\">not an approval<\/span>.<\/blockquote><\/li><li>Extension or Project Closure:<br \/><ul><li>To extend the duration of a research project or to close a project, submit a <span class=\"s1\">progress report<\/span> and a <span class=\"s1\">closure notification<\/span> via email to<span class=\"s1\">irb@sit.kmutt.ac.th<\/span> to request the appropriate forms.<\/li><li>After completing the form, submit the <span class=\"s1\">original signed document<\/span> to Ms. Walaiphan Pornwirun, SIT.<\/li><li>If the applicant delays submission beyond <span class=\"s1\">5 days<\/span>, they must <span class=\"s1\">resubmit a new IRB application<\/span>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol><p><strong>Roles &amp; Responsibilities<br \/><\/strong>Academic Services Office<\/p><ul><li>Receive IRB applications from students, instructors, or researchers.<\/li><li>Organize and forward documents to the IRB Subcommittee Secretariat.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>IRB Subcommittee<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>The secretariat prepares documents for review at the IRB subcommittee meeting.<\/li><li>The subcommittee evaluates applications within <span class=\"s1\">1 week<\/span> of receiving a complete set of documents.<\/li><li>Approved projects are submitted to the <span class=\"s1\">KMUTT Human Research Ethics Committee<\/span> for final approval.<\/li><li>The secretariat receives the <span class=\"s1\">IRB certificate<\/span> from KMUTT\u2019s
