It cannot be used to exempt the cost of credits for other subjects.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">1.3 The period for consideration of granting scholarship shall be in the duration of the curriculum and shall not exceed the total number of credits in the dissertation subjects, such as 36 credits or 48 credits.<\/p>\n\n<ol start=\"2\">\n \t<li><strong> Qualifications of Scholarship Applicants<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">2.1 Have a GPA. not less than 3.25 up to the time of application for a scholarship.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">2.2 Must be certified by the research advisor by signing in the application form.<\/p>\n\n<ol start=\"3\">\n \t<li><strong> Evaluation Criteria<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">3.1 Applicants must meet the basic qualifications.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">3.2 Applicants can demonstrate that they have a research intention that is consistent with the objectives of the grant as specified.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">3.3 Applicants must be a person who has not received any scholarship support from any source.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">3.4 Applicants must have passed the thesis proposal examination or passed the progress report in the semester in which they registered their thesis in the current semester to request a credit exemption scholarship in the next semester.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">3.5 The consideration of the scholarship is the sole right of the Research Promotion Scholarship Committee.<\/p>\n<strong>Scholarship Consideration Process<\/strong>\n<ol>\n \t<li>Students submit an application for a research credit fees exemption scholarship (PhD) signed by the advisor to Miss Paweena Mongkolpongsiri from now until <strong>Sunday, May 25, <\/strong><strong>202<\/strong><strong>5<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n \t<li>The selection committee will conduct interviews with scholarship applicants on <strong>Wednesday, May 28, <\/strong><strong>202<\/strong><strong>5.<\/strong><\/li>\n \t<li>The committee will recommends the dean\u2019s approval of the scholarship.<\/li>\n \t<li>The list of scholarship recipients will be announced on<strong> June 6, <\/strong><strong>202<\/strong><strong>5 <\/strong>or until approved by KMUTT.<\/li>\n \t<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<strong>Remark:<\/strong> Students who apply for the scholarship must apply for a payment deferral request in the NewACIS system to wait for the scholarship approval. There are two types of scholarships:<\/p><ol><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ol><li>A scholarship for exemption of 3 thesis credit fees for students studying Plan A in the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> semester (2<sup>nd <\/sup>year, 1<sup>st<\/sup> semester)<\/li><li>A scholarship for exemption of 9 thesis credit fees for students studying Plan A in the 4<sup>th<\/sup> semester (2<sup>nd<\/sup> year, 2<sup>nd<\/sup> semester)<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Details<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>A:<\/strong><strong> 3 <\/strong><strong>Thesis Credit Fees Exemption<\/strong><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0A scholarship for the exemption of 3 thesis credit fees is granted to students who enroll for the first time in Plan A: Thesis in the Master&#8217;s program of the School of Information Technology.<br \/>Students who receive this scholarship in the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> semester may apply for an extension in the 4<sup>th<\/sup> semester for a 9 thesis credit fees exemption, or as approved by the committee, to continue their studies in the thesis program.<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If a student who has received a thesis credit fees exemption decides to switch to another study plan or Workshop during the semester, the student must submit a request to the School of Information Technology to withdraw from all thesis registrations covered by the scholarship. The School of Information Technology, King Mongkut\u2019s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), provides scholarships to graduate-level students both Thai and international who demonstrate high research potential. Scholars will receive close supervision from SIT\u2019s advisors. The program offers <strong>5 scholarships per year<\/strong>.<\/p><p><strong>Scholarship Conditions<\/strong><\/p><p>The scholarship covers full tuition for the <strong>3-year duration of a doctoral program<\/strong> (starting from the first semester of enrollment) and includes living allowances as follows:<\/p><ol><li><strong>Actual tuition fees<\/strong> as specified in each program.<\/li><li><strong>Credit fees<\/strong> necessary for program completion (as specified in the curriculum, up to the required credits).<\/li><li><strong>Living allowance support<\/strong>:<ul><li>In the <strong>first year (2 semesters)<\/strong>, a living allowance of <strong>12,000 THB\/month<\/strong> starting from the award date.<\/li><li>If the student passes the <strong>proposal defense<\/strong>, the living allowance increases to <strong>14,000 THB\/month<\/strong> starting the following month, continuing for up to 3 years.<\/li><li>If the proposal is not passed in the first year, but the advisor approves continued studies, the student will receive <strong>12,000 THB\/month<\/strong> until the program&#8217;s completion within 3 years.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>If the student fails to pass the proposal defense in the first year and the advisor decides against further attempts, the scholarship will be <strong>terminated<\/strong>, and the student must repay tuition and credit fees (interest-free). However, the student can continue their studies with personal funding.<\/li><li>Financial support of <strong>15,000 THB per publication<\/strong>, capped at <strong>30,000 THB<\/strong> throughout the 3-year program.<\/li><li>Scholarship recipients must publish at least one research article in an international journal (where the student is the first author) indexed in <strong>ISI<\/strong> or <strong>SCOPUS<\/strong>. The journal must rank <strong>Quartile 1 (Q1)<\/strong> or <strong>Quartile 2 (Q2)<\/strong> based on the latest <strong>Journal Citation Report (JCR)<\/strong> by Clarivate Analytics or <strong>Scimago Journal &amp; Country Rank (SJR)<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Applications are open to both Thai and international students. padding-left: 40px;\">2.1 Applicants must be enrolled as students in bachelor\u2019s, master&#8217;s, or doctoral programs and be listed as co-authors of the accepted publication. In cases where multiple students are co-authors, only one scholarship will be awarded per publication.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400; padding-left: 40px;\">2.2 The research must be accepted for publication at a national or an international academic conference that complies with the criteria outlined in the Office of the Higher Education Commission\u2019s Announcement on the Criteria for Academic Position Appointments (2021), including joint conferences between higher education institutions and academic or professional associations as specified in Circular No. \u0e2d\u0e27 0204.2\/\u0e27 6342 dated March 25, 2024.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400; padding-left: 40px;\">2.3 The first author must be a student, followed by the academic advisor(s).<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400; padding-left: 40px;\">2.4 The paper must undergo a peer-review process involving at least three reviewers.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400; padding-left: 40px;\">2.5 Recipients must submit a conference participation report and a copy of the published work after the event.<\/p><p><strong>3.\u00a0\u00a0 Selection Assessment Criteria<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400; padding-left: 80px;\">4.1.2 For an international academic conference held outside of Thailand: support for 1 presenter per research paper under KMUTT\u2019s financial regulations\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;
