Introduction to DB2 Training: Skills Enhancement for IT | CS | DSI Students During the Semester Break

     From June 25–28, 2024, the School of Information Technology (SIT), KMUTT organized the “Introduction to DB2 Training” workshop, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Narongrit Waraporn, Dean of SIT. The training was designed to enhance fundamental DB2 database skills for 32 first-year students from the following programs:

• Information Technology (IT)

• Computer Science (CS)

• Digital Service Innovation (DSI)

    Held during the semester break, this training aimed to equip students with essential database knowledge and prepare them for the upcoming academic term (Semester 1/2024).

Students were introduced to IBM DB2 Data Studio and gained hands-on experience with:

• Basic database creation and management

• SQL scripting

• Table design and implementation

• And other foundational concepts in database systems

    The workshop also featured practical sessions and activities to reinforce learning. Participants who completed the training received a certificate of achievement.
