SIT Alumnus Shares AI Expertise with CS@SIT Students in CSC340 Class

     On August 28, 2023, the Computer Science International Program (CS@SIT) at the School of Information Technology, KMUTT, hosted a special guest lecture as part of the CSC340 Artificial Intelligence course, taught by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chakridakul Nugulkij.

     The session featured Mr. Thammasat Wisuttaram, a master’s degree alumnus in Computer Science and an expert in AI, who delivered a lecture titled: “Reinforcement Learning-based Differential Evolution for Solving Economic Dispatch Problems”

     During the lecture, Mr. Wisuttaram shared insights from his research in AI and optimization, with a focus on real-world applications in the energy sector. He also shared valuable experiences about pursuing graduate studies abroad, offering advice and inspiration to more than 60 students in the CS@SIT program.

     The lecture is part of SIT’s continuous effort to connect current students with alumni and experts in the field, enhancing learning through real-world exposure and mentorship.
