CS@SIT Hosts Guest Lecture on “Data Mining | Data Science | Data Analytics in the Real World”

     On March 10, 2023, the Computer Science (English Program) at SIT KMUTT organized a special guest lecture titled “Data Mining | Data Science | Data Analytics in the Real World” as part of the course CSC 531 Data Mining.

     The session, held in a hybrid format at the Learning Exchange Building (LX), was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chakarida Nukoolkit, the course instructor. The event featured a special guest speaker — Dr. Passad Puttapipat, Leading Analytics and Products at DataX, a company under SCBX.

     The lecture aimed to deepen students’ understanding of how data can be utilized effectively, showcasing real-world applications of data mining, data science, and data analytics. Dr. Passad shared valuable insights drawn from his professional experience, helping students connect classroom knowledge to industry practices.

     This session not only enriched students’ technical skills but also provided a broader perspective on how data drives decision-making and innovation in today’s digital world.
