SAMOSIT Builds Thai-International Friendships with “SIT Culture” Cross-Cultural Event

On May 10, 2025, the Student Association of the School of Information Technology (SAMOSIT) organized the “SIT Culture” activity at Ancient City, Bang Pu Mai Subdistrict, Mueang Samut Prakan District, Samut Prakan Province. The event aimed to strengthen good relationships between Thai and international students, while providing an opportunity to exchange experiences, learn about Thai culture, and develop teamwork skills in an intercultural environment.

A total of 33 students joined the activity, including 17 international students and 16 Thai students. Throughout the day, participants engaged in team-based challenges such as finding landmarks based on clues, capturing photos or videos of key moments, and answering short quizzes to reinforce their understanding of the rich cultural heritage showcased at Ancient City — an open-air museum featuring architecture and cultural highlights from all regions of Thailand.

The “SIT Culture” project proved to be an important initiative to bridge the gap between Thai and international students. It encouraged English communication, fostered teamwork, and instilled an appreciation for cultural diversity and global citizenship.

The SAMOSIT remains committed to organizing more creative and inclusive activities like this to enhance students’ potential and prepare them to thrive in a global society.
