SIT KMUTT IT&CS Project D-Day Exhibition 2022

     On Wednesday, November 23, 2022, the School of Information Technology (SIT), KMUTT organized the IT & CS Project D-Day Exhibition 2022 — an annual event that showcases final-year student projects from both the Information Technology (IT) program and the Computer Science (English Program). A 47 innovative projects were presented at Room LIB108, KMUTT Central Library. The exhibition attracted over 800 visitors including industry professionals, university students, high school teachers and students, and parents.

      Students demonstrated strong technical knowledge and creativity by presenting their projects across a wide range of topics and technologies. The event fostered a warm and engaging atmosphere, where attendees could ask questions, exchange ideas, and offer valuable feedback directly to the student teams. To recognize audience favorites, two Popular Vote Awards were given. The winning project for the Computer Science (English Program) was “Music Mood Classification for a Workout”, developed by Ms. Kittiyaporn Takrudthieng, Ms. Kaewkes Saelee, and Mr. Wisarut Kitticharoenpornngam, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Chakarida Nukoolkit and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worarat Krathu.

      For the Information Technology program, the Popular Vote was awarded to “Smart Farm System Using IoT for Garden Monitoring”, developed by Mr. Pawat Mankong, Ms. Wanisara Kamracha, and Ms. Sakulthip Ratsameejaroentham, with Asst. Prof. Dr. Saichon Jaiyen as the project advisor. The exhibition welcomed 805 attendees in total — including 82 professionals from leading IT companies — making it a highly successful platform for showcasing student talent and enhancing academia-industry engagement.
