CS First Date: Welcoming New CS Freshmen

     On Saturday, September 4, 2021, students from the Computer Science (English Program) organized the “CS First Date” event to warmly welcome incoming first-year students. The event featured a variety of activities designed to foster connection and engagement among students across all years. The program was divided into three main areas: team-building activities, such as group naming and student introductions; recreational activities, including bingo and a picture-based word guessing game; and academic activities focused on introductory Python programming. The event provided a fun, friendly environment while also helping new students prepare for their academic journey in CS@SIT.
