นักศึกษา CS@SIT x Toronto ลุยโจทย์สุดท้าทาย ในกิจกรรม “SIT Hackathon 2026” มุ่งสร้างนักพัฒนาระดับสากล

คณะเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ (SIT) มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี (มจธ.) จัดกิจกรรม “SIT Hackathon 2026” ในส่วนของนักศึกษาหลักสูตรวิทยาศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์ (CS) ณ อาคารคณะเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ (SIT) และอาคารการเรียนรู้พหุวิทยาการ (LX) ระหว่างวันที่ 29-31 พฤษภาคม 2569 เพื่อส่งเสริมให้นักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1 ได้นำองค์ความรู้ภาคทฤษฎีจากการเรียนมาประยุกต์ใช้ในการเขียนโค้ดและพัฒนา Web Application หลังเสร็จสิ้นการสอบปลายภาค

กิจกรรม “SIT Hackathon 2026” ของฝั่งวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์ ได้รับเกียรติจาก ผศ. ดร.ณรงค์ฤทธิ์ วราภรณ์ คณบดีคณะเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดงาน พร้อมด้วย ผศ. ดร.ชลเมธ อาปณิกานนท์ รองคณบดีด้านพัฒนาความเป็นสากล และประธานหลักสูตรวิทยาศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์ เข้าร่วมต้อนรับและสนับสนุนนักศึกษาตลอดการแข่งขัน โดยความพิเศษในปีนี้คือความร่วมมือในระดับสากล ซึ่งมีนักศึกษาแลกเปลี่ยนจาก University of Toronto ประเทศแคนาดา จำนวน 5 คน เข้าร่วมสัมผัสประสบการณ์และแลกเปลี่ยนทักษะการพัฒนาระบบร่วมกับนักศึกษาไทย สร้างบรรยากาศการเรียนรู้ในรูปแบบนานาชาติ (International Environment) ได้เป็นอย่างดี สำหรับไฮไลต์ของการแข่งขันในครั้งนี้ อยู่ที่โจทย์สุดระทึกขวัญและท้าทายจินตนาการอย่าง “Apocalypse” (วันสิ้นโลก) โดยนักศึกษาหลักสูตร CS ต้องระดมสมองเพื่อแก้โจทย์ปัญหาเชิงเทคนิค และดึงทักษะจากวิชา Web Application Development ออกมาสร้างสรรค์ระบบเว็บแอปพลิเคชันที่สามารถช่วยชีวิต แก้ไขสถานการณ์ หรือบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรภายใต้เงื่อนไขสถานการณ์จำลองวันสิ้นโลก และการคำนึงถึงความปลอดภัยของข้อมูลภายใต้ข้อจำกัดของเวลาการแข่งขันที่กดดัน

การเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม SIT Hackathon 2026 ภายใต้หัวข้อ Apocalypse ของนักศึกษาหลักสูตร CS และนักศึกษาแลกเปลี่ยนจาก University of Toronto ถือเป็นเวทีสำคัญในการบ่มเพาะทักษะที่จำเป็นสำหรับนักพัฒนาระดับมืออาชีพ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการแก้ไขปัญหาเฉพาะหน้า การทำงานร่วมกันเป็นทีมเวิร์กข้ามวัฒนธรรม และการนำเสนอผลงาน คณะ SIT มจธ. มุ่งมั่นที่จะขับเคลื่อนและสนับสนุนพื้นที่จำลองประสบการณ์จริงเช่นนี้ เพื่อสร้างบัณฑิตสายวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์ที่มีความเชี่ยวชาญพร้อมก้าวสู่ตลาดแรงงานระดับสากลต่อไป

The School of Information Technology (SIT) at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) recently organized “SIT Hackathon 2026” for Computer Science (CS) undergraduate students. Held from May 29–31, 2026, at the SIT Building and the Learning Exchange (LX) Building, the event aimed to encourage first-year students to apply their theoretical knowledge to real-world coding and web application development right after completing their final exams.

The SIT Hackathon 2026 (CS division) was honored by the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr. Narongrit Waraporn, Dean of the School of Information Technology, who presided over the opening ceremony. Joining him to welcome and support the students throughout the competition was Asst. Prof. Dr. Chonlameth Arpnikanondt , Associate Dean for Internationalization and Chairperson of the Computer Science Program. A key highlight of this year’s event was its global collaboration, featuring 5 exchange students from the University of Toronto, Canada. The international peers joined Thai students to share development skills and gain hands-on experience, fostering a vibrant international learning environment.

The ultimate highlight of the competition was the thrilling and imaginative theme: “Apocalypse”. CS students had to brainstorm and solve complex technical challenges, utilizing skills acquired from their Web Application Development course. Their mission was to build web applications capable of saving lives, managing crises, or optimizing resources under simulated doomsday scenarios—all while ensuring data security under intense time constraints.

Participating in SIT Hackathon 2026 under the “Apocalypse” theme provided a vital platform for both CS students and University of Toronto exchange students to cultivate essential professional development skills. These included critical problem-solving, cross-cultural teamwork, and presentation skills. SIT KMUTT remains dedicated to driving and supporting these real-world experiential spaces to nurture computer science graduates equipped with the expertise to excel in the global job market.
