SIT KMUTT ต้อนรับ Prof. Hiroaki Morino จาก Shibaura Institute of Technology หารือความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ และจัดบรรยายพิเศษด้าน IoT และ Mobile Networks

วันที่ 14 กันยายน 2569 คณะเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี (SIT KMUTT) ร่วมต้อนรับ Prof. Hiroaki Morino จาก Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT) ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ในโอกาสเดินทางมาเยือนคณะ เพื่อเข้าพบและประชุมหารือความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ และการวิจัยร่วมกับคณะผู้บริหาร SIT KMUTT ภายใต้โครงการอาจารย์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญพิเศษชาวต่างประเทศ (Distinguished Visiting Professor) และอาจารย์พิเศษชาวต่างประเทศ (Visiting Professor) โดยมี ผศ. ดร.อุมาพร สุภสิทธิเมธี รองคณบดีด้านบริหาร ดร.สยาม แย้มแสงสังข์ รองคณบดีด้านประกันคุณภาพและพัฒนานักศึกษา ผศ. ดร.ชลเมธ อาปณิกานนท์ รองคณบดีด้านพัฒนาความเป็นสากล และ ผศ. ดร.ตุลย์ ไตรยสรรค์ รองประธานหลักสูตรวิทยาศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์ ร่วมให้การต้อนรับและประชุมหารือ

การเทียบเชิญ Prof. Hiroaki Morino ในครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์สำคัญในการยกระดับความเข้มแข็งด้านวิชาการ และการวิจัยของ SIT KMUTT ในสาขา Resilient and Intelligent Networked Systems ซึ่งครอบคลุมองค์ความรู้ด้านเครือข่ายแบบกระจาย (Distributed / Overlay Networks), ระบบเครือข่ายไร้สายขั้นสูง (Wireless & Mesh Networks), การสื่อสารยานยนต์อัจฉริยะ (Vehicular Communication / V2X) ตลอดจนกลไกความมั่นคงปลอดภัยในโครงสร้างพื้นฐานดิจิทัล (Secure & Fault-tolerant Network Architecture) ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับทิศทางการพัฒนาของคณะฯ และมหาวิทยาลัย ในการสร้างผลกระทบเชิงบวก เติมเต็มองค์ความรู้เฉพาะทาง และส่งเสริมกลุ่มวิจัยที่เป็นจุดเน้นระดับสากล

นอกจากนี้ Prof. Hiroaki Morino ยังได้ให้เกียรติเป็นวิทยากรบรรยายพิเศษแก่นักศึกษาหลักสูตรวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์ (CS) ในหัวข้อ “IoT and Mobile Networks as Enabling Technologies of Smart Cities” ณ ห้อง Training 11/3-4 อาคารการเรียนรู้พหุวิทยาการ (LX) เพื่อเปิดโลกทัศน์ และถ่ายทอดความรู้เบื้องลึกเกี่ยวกับเทคโนโลยีโครงข่ายไร้สายและ IoT ในการเป็นกลไกขับเคลื่อนเมืองอัจฉริยะ ซึ่งช่วยเสริมสร้างทักษะและสร้างแรงบันดาลใจแก่นักศึกษาในการพัฒนาต่อยอดงานวิจัย และนวัตกรรมต่อไปในอนาคต

On September 14, 2026, The School of Information Technology, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (SIT KMUTT), welcomed Prof. Hiroaki Morino from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT), Tokyo, Japan. During his visit, Prof. Morino met with SIT KMUTT executives to discuss strategic academic and research collaborations under the Distinguished Visiting Professor and Visiting Professor frameworks. The welcoming executive team included Asst. Prof. Dr. Umaporn Supasitthimethee, Associate Dean for Administration; Dr. Siam Yamsangsung, Associate Dean for Quality Assurance and Student Development; Asst. Prof. Dr. Chonlameth Arpnikanondt, Associate Dean for Internationalization; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Tuul Triyason, Vice Chairperson of the Computer Science Program.

The invitation of Prof. Hiroaki Morino aims to elevate SIT KMUTT’s academic and research capabilities in Resilient and Intelligent Networked Systems. This domain encompasses critical knowledge areas including Distributed/Overlay Networks, Advanced Wireless & Mesh Networks, Vehicular Communication (V2X), and Secure & Fault-tolerant Network Architecture. This initiative directly aligns with the strategic development goals of SIT KMUTT and the university by creating a broader research impact, enhancing specialized expertise, and empowering core research groups.

Additionally, Prof. Hiroaki Morino delivered a special lecture for Computer Science (CS) students titled “IoT and Mobile Networks as Enabling Technologies of Smart Cities” at Training Room 11/3-4, Learning Exchange Building (LX). The session provided students with cutting-edge insights into how mobile networks and IoT function as foundational technologies for smart city development, inspiring future research and innovation.
