Announcement: Application for Financial Support for Graduate Thesis Credits, Semester 2/2026
The School of Information Technology (SIT), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), is pleased to announce Financial Support for Graduate Research Credits for students enrolled in Plan A (Thesis) / Academic Plan for Semester 2/2026.
Applicants may review the eligibility criteria, conditions, and required documents before submitting their applications within the specified application period.

The application process for financial support for research credits for Semester 1/2026 will be conducted as follows:

1.1 | Financial Support for 3 Thesis Credits for Master’s Students in the Academic Track – Semester 3 (Year 2, Semester 1) Students who wish to apply for the financial support are encouraged to complete the following steps within October 2026:

1.2 | Financial Support for Thesis Credits for Master’s Students in Plan A – Thesis Track/Academic Track (Excluding Category 1.1), and for Doctoral Students – Dissertation Credits
| 16 Nov. – 11 Dec. 2026 |
2 | The SIT Research Support Committee convenes to review applications and conduct interviews with applicants via Microsoft Teams.
| Monday, 14 Dec. 2026 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. |
3 | The SIT Research Support Committee proposes the selected candidates to the university executives for approval of Financial Support. | |
4 | The list of approved applicants will be announced after receiving approval from KMUTT. | |
Note:
Students applying for Financial Support for Research Credits are required to request a tuition fee payment deferral for Semester 2/2026 by completing the following steps:
1. Submit tuition fee payment deferral request.
Submit a deferral request for Semester 2/2026 through the SIT online system, SIT Petition, at: https://webapp1.sit.kmutt.ac.th/Petition/ The request must be submitted between 1 and -11 December 2026 while awaiting approval of financial support.
2. Register for courses for Semester2/2026.
Register through the NewACIS system between 14 and 18 December 2026 and submit the Bill Payment to the Educational Services staff for your programs so it can be attached to the deferral request:

> PhD IT & PhD CS : vichchuda@sit.kmutt.ac.th
3. Graduate students who are granted a registration deferral for Semester 1/2026 must complete the payment of the registration fee no later than 1 February 2027.
