Scholarship Opportunities for the Exchange at JAMK, Finland in 2/2021 (January-May, 2022)

An exchange opportunity news. SIT (CS@SIT and the IT program) might be able to send 2-3 students (junior/senior) for a semester exchange at JAMK University of Applied Science, Finland, Internship may also be possible, but at this time no guarantee.
The scholarship will cover the travel and living expenses…So, practically, this is full coverage. The amount is just about okay for you to get by. You may need to add your own budget into it if you are anticipating extensive travel and other more lavish lifestyle while you’re there.
The other expenses that may incur out of your own pocket are the COVID-19 PCR test and the required hotel accommodation while awaiting the test results (2-3 days, 200-400 euros inc. the test, provided that you don’t have COVID-19). Finland, as part of the EU countries, does not recognize the AstraZeneca vaccine lots that you had. Therefore, you must present the PCR test results, either from Thailand or from them. Doing the PCR test in Thailand will be cheaper; however, the result is only valid for 72 hours after your test date (note…not the date you obtain the results). Therefore, this can be challenging at best.
BTW, the info session will include a talk by P. Muta who is now lived in Jyvaskyla Finland. P. Muta is our CS Alum who exchanged at JAMK in her senior year.

We will send you the link later and will excuse you from CSC371 during that time. You will have to catch up from the video recording, though.
